New Shirts
Last Thursday (instead of the package), we have the screen printing of a new line of t-shirts and I must say they turned out great! After trying to outsource our screen and desperately coming up short twice, with past due and once poor, I took it upon myself to learn some basics of screen printing. And with the help of some colleagues Booners we have developed a process that seems to be the case for us.
First we went out and gather all necessary supplies: Silk Painting, squeegee, screens, emulsifier and emulsifier solution withdrawal.
Then all the preparatory work: We need to clear the screen down to make me wet and to allow the emulsifier will stick without air pockets, spidering, or bubbles. After the attempt failed once, we discovered that you can not use too much water, but you can use too little. Once the emulsifier is defined, it must be dried, which can be accelerated with a blow dryer or a fan, or both....
