    - Good Dress Form
I have no prior experience with dress forms but have to say this is a life saver. My husband is not a good substitute. I have not yet matched her up to the exact size I am needing for my current project but I have played with all the adjustments...

    - Overall Good Product
I'm writing this review for my Mom. She has been sewing for more than 30+ years, and always wanted one of these dress forms. Let's start with the good: She loves the fact that she can pin fabric directly onto the form. It can adjust height pretty...

Finished Sewing Grandma’s Dress!!

I did it! I finished making my dress grandmother. I found an old photo of my grandmother, and I fell in love with her dress. So I decided to make my own! I did not know until a few days ago, but my grandmother died exactly five years ago this month. This is for you, Grandma!

I went into the wedding dress challenge Craftstylish Impress. I really really want to win the dress form. The editors choose their favorites, and readers will vote for the winner and I'm going to need your votes! See my entry on the link below.

This is the first full skirt dress I've ever done. It took me a while to find a model that fits the style of the dress. I ended up using the New Look model 6886.I used the pattern pieces of a skirt model 1950 Authentic vintage dress like base of the skirt. Everything else from here was improvised. I wanted to make sure I could wear the skirt with dresses of different lengths so I gathered up eight links to tear the dress.
