Man-cation And A Flooded Basement
Last Saturday I was sitting in the boat and watched the sun set, I realized how much I enjoyed everything. I was with a group of guys, the weather was perfect, we could ski and wakeboard as much as we wanted and nobody was on his cell phone. I realized, however, that while I was in as good a place mentally as I have been for a long time, I would not describe it as one of the happiest moments of my life. Life was good and I was very aware and grateful for everything, but I knew that events were temporary and that has been authorized.What struck me as a more mature and deeper sense of well-being. However, at around 4:30 yesterday afternoon it began to rain hard as we were talking in the lounge. Around 6:00 pm I decided to make sure that our gutters were clear, because it was still down hard. By 6:10 I made our basement was completely flooded....
