VIAIR 90P Portable Compressor

I had that tire inflation, because I do not want to be dependent on my local gas station to fill up my tires. The last time I went on the air compressor was broken, so I finally bought this.

This unit hooks directly to the battery of your car. My 2010 Honda Accord does at 10 amps DC output by the car, so I decided to find the latter rather than similar units that I saw that the hook inside your car rather that of the battery. I read comments from others about some of these inflators blowing fuses in the car, if I was aware of this issue in advance.

After connecting the clips to the battery and turning on my car, I filled all my tires just to top it all. The compressor is relatively quiet (certainly not very much to my definition) and added about 2 psi for each tire in about 10 seconds for each tire. The unit was a bit hot after all four tires, but certainly not anywhere near Hot to hurt my hands to touch the metal heat sink. It probably has more hot if you leave on for longer, but for the periodic maintenance of tire inflation, it seems that it is robust enough to cope....
